EuroIndia 2004 Exhibition

The EuroIndia exhibition was organized with the aim of the development of relations with India in the scope of the Eurov6 project.

This event was supported by the Confederation of Indian Industry, the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India, the Indian Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, the National Association of Software and Service Companies and the Manufacturers Association of Information Technology.

IPv6 Demonstrations:

Number of applications were demonstrated including Home Automation (access to the VTT portal and to the Basel and Brussels Eurov6 showcases) and VideoLAN streaming with usage of an iPAQ palm-held computer.

Conference: Co-operation Forum on

the Information Society

The Conference had five parallel sessions, running continuously. ULB chaired session E7, on eLearning.

A parallel session called “Get in Touch” was devoted to specific topics allowing closer contacts and discussions between small groups of interested parties. ULB co-organize one session on IPv6 and Grid computing.
